Blogging – a new frontier for African millennials
Blogging has given a voice to Africans who felt they had none, and opened up huge opportunities for businesses and individuals alike.
Lesego is a Masters Graduate from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in International Development. She has previous experience working for the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency as a Product Development Specialist and Microfinance Office. CEDA assists citizen businesses with funding for starts ups and expansions. Areas of interest and involvement are in women empowerment, financial, digital literacy and youth development having assisted and worked with various non profits locally like Purple Crown, Gifted Hands Botswana, Finance First Botswana. She contributes as a writer for various online blogs like World Economic Forum, She Leads Africa, Pristine Magazine and her work has been published on The Khalahari Review, The G-Blog, Rutiziro Magazine, Imagine Africa and others. She co authored a book titled Young Conversations which offered social commentary on African issues that are opportunities for young people. She is an Atlas Corps Fellow 2018 and Future Elect Fellow 2020
