With over 20 years of experience in talent management, information technology and finance and administration at a senior management level, Mofeez joined Tamkeen in 2021 as Chief Corporate Officer. She now holds the position of Chief Executive of Tamkeen, having been appointed in December 2022.
Prior to joining Tamkeen, Maha was the Chief Corporate Officer at the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB). She also spent over ten years in the IT field at Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) and the Constitutional Court.
Maha holds several positions in various boards across the Kingdom of Bahrain, including Chairing Mazad Company and being the Deputy Chairperson of INJAZ. She is currently a board member of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASET) and the Higher Education Council.
She holds a Bachelor’s in computer science with a minor in statistics from the University of Bahrain. She has also completed her executive education at the Harvard Business School.
In 2018, in recognition of her public service, Mofeez was awarded a Medal of National Service (first degree) by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
