Manolo Abella co-chairs KNOMAD's Thematic Working Group on Low-Skilled Labor Migration. He is Senior Research Associate of the Centre for Migration Policy and Society of University of Oxford and was for many years Director of ILO's International Migration Programme. He has written extensively on labor migration especially in Asia and the Middle East.
