Marcio Cruz has been working on a new version of the Global Income Distribution Dynamics (GIDD) model since 2013 as a researcher for the Development Economics Prospects Group at World Bank. He is an assistant professor (on leave) of the Department of Economics at the Federal University of Paraná, where he was teaching Microeconomics and International Trade, from 2006 to 2010.
