Mário Centeno (1966) was sworn in as Finance Minister of the XXI Constitutional Government of the Portuguese Republic on 26 November 2015. On 4 December 2017 was elected Eurogroup President by the euro area finance ministers and has served as Chairperson of the ESM Board of Governors in his capacity as President of the Eurogroup since January 2018.
