Maryrose Sylvester is the U.S. Country Managing Director for ABB and the Head of ABB’s Electrification business in the United States. Previously, she was President & CEO of Current, Powered by GE. She has also led multiple GE businesses as CEO including GE Lighting, GE Intelligent Platforms, and GE Quartz.
Maryrose is a member of the Executive Committee for the Board of Governors of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and was a past board chair. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for Harley-Davidson.
Sylvester is leading ABB in the United States as the world moves toward energy-efficient solutions. She has expertise in software, hardware and service focused in electric power, automation, operations management, digitalization and smart buildings.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in procurement and production management from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Cleveland State University.
