How collaboration among competitors can help tackle plastic pollution
Efforts to address plastic pollution have stalled, but collaboration among competitors offers hope. Chile’s innovative initiatives showcase solutions.
My purpose is to transform our systems to protect (and regenerate) the planet. For that I work at the intersection between innovation and circular economy, either from within an organization or designing public policies.
I have experience in the elaboration of studies related to integrated waste management, reuse schemes and circular business models. In addition, I have participated in open and internal innovation processes in the areas of health, energy and agriculture.
I'm the Project Manager of the Chilean Plastic Pact in "Fundación Chile" and the Curator of Global Shapers Santiago. A community of young leaders associated with the World Economic Forum (WEF). I am also a Climate Reality Leader, trained by Al Gore, to teach and train on climate change.
Additional information? I like to read and listen to podcasts related to politics and actuality. I sometimes go running with the Santiago Runners Club and this year I ran my first marathon!
