Africa's next generation sees entrepreneurship as a golden ticket to wealth and stability — but a lack of financial literacy could leave women excluded.
Mazamesso Assih has been Togo’s Minister of Financial Inclusion and the Informal Sector since 2017. She oversees Togo’s national strategy for financial inclusion, which includes delivering measures to improve the population’s financial education and access to financial services, with the aim to develop sustainable entrepreneurship and to integrate vulnerable communities into the formal economy.
