Mike Baiocchi specializes in creating simple, easy to understand methodologies for causal inference and observational studies. He is an assistant professor in the Stanford Prevention Research Center at Stanford School of Medicine. Before this he was a Stein Fellow in the statistics department at Stanford. He earned his PhD in statistics from the Wharton School. Before graduate school Professor Baiocchi worked as an actuarial associate at Towers Perrin - where his specialty was health care, with a focus on disease management and care management.
