COVID-19 has let the virus of inequality run rampant
The coronavirus has hit the poor and marginalized far harder – and revealed how the neoliberal economic model of the past 40 years is no longer fit for purpose.
Nabil Ahmed is Head of Executive Strategy and Communications at Oxfam International, a global network that fights inequality to end poverty and injustice. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Nabil works to influence political and corporate actors to tackle economic inequality and the climate crisis, and to advance women’s rights.
