Nicolai Kaarsen is an economist at the Danish Economic Councils, an independent economic advisory body that provides economic analysis and research-based advice to policy makers. He finished his Ph.D. degree in economics at University of Copenhagen in 2011. Since then he has published in journals such as Journal of the European Economic Association and Journal of Development Economics.
