As Co-Founder and Group CEO of Catcha Group, Southeast Asia’s leading internet group which builds and invests in disruptive companies across emerging markets globally, Patrick Grove is recognised as one of the leading entrepreneurs in the Asia Pacific region. Over the last thirteen years, he founded and took five companies from start-up to IPO, recently selling one of those companies, iProperty Group in a transaction valued in excess of US$534m. The iProperty Group sale was one of the largest internet exits in ASEAN history.

He is Co-Founder and Chairman of iflix, the leading SVoD service for emerging markets; Co-Founder and Director of iCar Asia, ASEAN’s No. 1 network of digital automotive portals; and Co-Founder of Frontier Digital Ventures, a leading operator of online classifieds in frontier markets.

In 2017, Catcha Group announced the Kuala Lumpur Internet City (KLIC) - a digital hub as part of the government-led Digital Free Trade Zone - for internet companies in Southeast Asia to facilitate networking, collaboration and knowledge sharing. KLIC aspires to be the epicenter of the Southeast Asian digital economy with over 1,000+ companies and 25,000+ tech professionals.

Over the last decade, Patrick has been independently and widely recognised with numerous international awards, including: Global Leader of Tomorrow and New Asian Leader by the World Economic Forum; Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore; Asia’s Best Young Entrepreneur by Bloomberg Business. Patrick has also been included on Forbes Malaysia 50 Richest list and the BRW Rich 200 list.
