Then moved to Portugal as Market Head, followed by the Czech and Slovak Republic, and finally Germany. July 2004, joined the Nestlé Executive Board as Executive Vice-President with responsibility for Zone Americas; played a decisive role in transforming this region into the Group's largest and most profitable zone. 2008, appointed Chief Executive Officer. At the end of 2016, handed over the office of CEO.
Paul Bulcke has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nestlé S.A. since April 2017. He is Vice Chairman of L’Oréal (FR). He is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Community of Chairpersons (WEF), member of the Board of Trustees of Avenir Suisse and J.P. Morgan International Council as well as Co-Chairman of the 2030 Water Resources Group.
