Peter A. Petri is the Carl J. Shapiro Professor of International Finance at the Brandeis International Business School (IBS), a Senior Fellow of the East-West Center in Honolulu and a Visiting Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington. His research focuses on international trade, finance and investment, primarily in the Asia Pacific. He received A.B. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from Harvard University and was the founding Dean of Brandeis IBS from 1994 to 2006.
