Partner; Climate and Sustainability, Oliver Wyman (Marsh McLennan)

Ms Qian Wu joined Oliver Wyman China in 2023, with a focus on the Climate & Sustainability. She is specialised in clean-tech investment, corporate net zero strategy, and supply chain resilience. She was the lead author of green finance policy recommendations for Business-20 Summit in Hangzhou in 2016 and has advised Chinese banks and insurance companies in developing their sustainable finance strategies. Since 2019, she has been a core member of the working groups of Green Investment Principle (GIP) for Belt and Road Initiative developing industry guidance on transition finance and environmental risks assessment. Qian’s team is the award winner of the Climate Risk Advisory of the Year 2020. Qian is active in carbon trading under the capacity of International Emissions Trading Association China Working Group co-chair.

Before joining Oliver Wyman, Qian was with PwC Strategy& as Partner for ESG. Qian has also worked with the British Embassy, and a European renewable energy consultancy. Qian holds a Master in Public Administration (M.P.A) from Columbia University.
