Prior to Qualcomm, was president of Latin America for Acision and served as president of Nortel Networks and Cisco in Brazil. Started professional career as engineer and sales manager at Alcatel and Siemens in Germany and Locstar in Paris. Graduated in aerospace engineering at the Technische Universität Berlin in 1984 and in performing arts from the Escola Superior de Artes Célia Helena, São Paulo, in 2006.
