Sarah Kirby is a seasoned HR professional and has gained close to 25 years working predominately within the financial services industry in a variety of Global and Regional roles.

She brings substantial experience and knowledge having supported both revenue generating businesses and global functions. Prior to joining Zurich, Sarah was the HR Director for the Technology and Operations division, (circa 120,00 employees) within HSBC across a global platform in a diverse range of jurisdictions. This entailed supporting employees across the Bank’s geographical footprint with a strong offshore presence.

Prior to her time in HSBC, Sarah worked in various HRD roles at RBS, Barclays, Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan predominately supporting the Investment Banking businesses and whilst at RBS, was also HR Head for the European region.

Sarah also has a passion for the Diversity and inclusion agenda and in recognition for the work she delivered whilst at HSBC was voted as one of `Top One hundred women to watch for in the City’

Sarah now works at Zurich reporting to David Henderson as Global Head of HR strategy and Transformation
