Shanti Raghavan is a Schwab Social Innovator.

She is co founder of Enable India, a pioneering, international award winning NGO that has impacted livelihoods of people across 21 disability types.

This has resulted in a shift in narratives about persons with disability as valuable members of society, active citizens, taxpayers, change makers and nation builders .

She has pioneered new work models showcased at WEF.

She now works for systems change at population scale and is using DPI to unlock a new economy centered around disability giving rise to economic growth and job creation. She calls this “purple economy” purple being color for disability.

She has also pioneered the IncludAbility Quotient(TM) which enables leaders to maximize value across their teams.

Founded in 1999, Enable India has impacted 500000 stakeholders across 28 states in India and other countries after Shanti's experience with her brother becoming blind at the age of 15. Enable India has helped businesses and governments through scalable models, frameworks, products and platforms.

She was identified by Business Today as one of the Most Powerful Women in Business in 2017.

She is an electronics engineer and holds an MS in Computer Science, USA, and has 12 years of experience in the software industry. She loves birding, painting, sports, traveling and much more!
