I joined the School of Architecture at Portsmouth in 2014 as a Senior Lecturer coordinating the BA3 unit of Architectural Technology. I have been a practitioner for more than 15 years before moving to teaching and academic research. As a practitioner I have worked in Milan, directing my own studio and collaborating with private and public clients. In the UK I have been a member of the multidisciplinary, international collective RED (www.theredgroup.org.uk), developing experimental projects focusing on sustainable buildings and cities. I have previously worked at the University of Birmingham and Coventry University, where I have been both teaching and working on research projects funded by UK research councils and European funding bodies.
