My career combines both conservation biology and management development. At DICE (University of Kent) my interests include endangered species management with links to projects in the Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. I have also been involved in studbook development for the European Association for Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA). My research and training interests in conservation management include leadership, project management, performance evaluation and increasing programme effectiveness.
