Wild fish may be on the decline but farmed fish have proven to be a sustainable alternative.
Simon Bush is Professor of Environmental Policy at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. His research focuses on the governance of sustainable and equitable production of global seafood. Simon’s recent publications investigate the politics of global fish production, with a specific focus on the role of market-based sustainability arrangements such as certification and private sector-led fishery improvement projects, including traceability.
