Sophia currently serves as a Programme and Community Lead with the Schwab Foundation team at the World Economic Forum. In her role, she provides leadership in the programmatic development process across the Foundation’s functions, ensuring the curation and integration of emerging content from the Foundation’s insights portfolio, from its community of social innovators and from its ecosystem of partners. This includes leading the development, planning and execution of content and session design for both physical and virtual events, learning journeys, summits and other thematic gathering throughout the year.
In addition to her work leading on programming, Sophia manages a community portfolio of leading social innovators from around the world, specifically thought leaders in the field and social leaders working on collective action initiatives.
She is a Master's in International Development graduate from Sciences Po Paris and holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Ghana.
