Selections, Community, and Impact Specialist, World Economic Forum

Sophia is a Specialist at the World Economic Forum where she manages the selection process of the prestigious Schwab Foundation Social Innovation Awards, an annual process that identifies a diverse cohort of well-established social innovators globally and invites them to join a customized development journey to grow themselves and their organizations whilst gaining continued support and access to opportunities through the Schwab Foundation and World Economic Forum’s network.

In addition to her work on the Social Innovation Awards, Sophia contributes significantly to the development and implementation of the impact measurement and management (IMM) framework of the Schwab Foundation. This crucial aspect ensures that the impact of social innovators is not only recognized but also systematically measured and improved. Moreover, she oversees the management of the expansive community of 450+ social innovators associated with the Schwab Foundation, fostering collaboration and collective progress.


She is a Master's in International Development graduate from Sciences Po Paris and holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Ghana.
