Former: US Undersecretary of Treasury for International Affairs; Managing Director, The Lindsey Group, an economic advisory firm, Washington DC. As Undersecretary, was the Administration's point person on international financial issues, including exchange rate policy, G7 meetings, and IMF and World Bank issues. Regularly interacted with counterparts in key emerging markets including China, India and Brazil. Currently, President and Chief Executive Officer, Institute of International Finance (IIF), which represents more than 500 global financial institutions, including many of the world's largest banks, investment banks and asset management firms. Has travelled extensively throughout Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
