Tony is technology editor at Business Insider Australia.
He was a technology professional at an investment bank for 11 years in Sydney before receiving a scholarship from Google to study journalism in Hong Kong. Upon returning to Australia, Tony reported for tech industry publication CRN—where he eventually became deputy editor—and also wrote for The Guardian before joining Business Insider in September 2016.
Tony holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and master’s in journalism, and has run for public office at federal and NSW state elections. Outside of tech, he spends an inordinate amount of time keeping up with rugby league, basketball, cricket and North Korea.
