What is being done to improve adoption rates in India?
India has millions of abandoned children, but adoptions are low. There are many ways that adoption can be made more desirable, says Vidyadhar Prabhudesai.
Vidyadhar Prabhudesai is an Executive Director and Board Member of the International Foundation for Sustainable, Peace and Development.
He is also an entrepreneur and the co-founder of LeadCap Ventures, which has a presence in 40 countries across Asia, Africa and Europe.
He received the World Bank's Prize on Youth Employability for impacting more than 10 million youth. He was awarded 'Thane Gaurav,' the second highest civilian status by Thane Municipal Corporation and he has received global fellowships from the UN, the World Economic Forum, the Ford Foundation and the Commonwealth.
