Vijay Raju

Vijay is the Co-Founder of The Propel Labs, a boutique innovation lab helping large organizations to achieve growth through innovation. Vijay was previously Head of Strategy, Forum Members at the World Economic Forum where he played a key role in building the Global Shapers Community and also, the community of fast growing companies. Prior to that, Vijay was a Venture Director with Innosight, co-founded by Clayton Christensen of the Harvard Business School, where he incubated several disruptive businesses at the Bottom of the in India including the Edison Award winning ‘Healthy Heart for All’ for Medtronic. His work is mentioned in books like Lean Startup, The First Mile and Little Black Book of Innovation. Vijay started his career in the computer animation industry in India and Silicon Valley. He was the Technical Director and Project Head of Pet Alien that won a Daytime Emmy nomination.Vijay holds two Masters, a Masters in Global Leadership jointly offered by Columbia University, Wharton School at UPenn, London Business School, INSEAD(France) and CEIBS(China) along with the World Economic Forum and an MBA from the International University of Japan, where he received the Monbukagakhusho Scholarship from the Ministry of Education (MEXT), Japan. He is a Mechanical Engg graduate from Madurai Kamaraj University. Vijay is also a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum Forum. Vijay is a regular contributor in Huffington Post, WEForum Agenda, Real Leaders, Strategy & Innovation, Al Arabiya English and Linkedin Pulse.
