Dr. Wu is the Managing Partner of BCG Greater China, overseeing BCG’s business across industry and functional practices in this region.

Under her leadership, BCG established Greater China Leadership Institute in 2022, providing strategic innovation and leadership coaching for companies in China. It gained recognition and popularity from C-suite leaders. Meanwhile, BCG has organized hundreds of high-level exchanges among global companies and industry associations, which pay close attention to the development of Chinese market, to enhance the cooperation between Chinese and International companies. For her achievements, she was listed on the 2023 Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in China.

Dr. Wu has served various multinational and local healthcare clients on strategic and operational topics, covering healthcare reform impact and growth strategy; R&D and new technology platforms; go-to-market and commercial excellence; digital transformation; and organization change. She also focuses on topics like going global, diversity, sustainable development, resilience, etc. Her recent publications include Supporting HER Career to Break Invisible Barriers, A Practice Guide to Corporate Sustainable Development in China 2022 (in collaboration with APEC), Chinese Companies Going Global in the Digital Era, Making Bets on New Biotech Platforms, China Drugs Innovation 2022 series, Five New Momentums of Commercial Healthcare Insurance Development in China, The Innovation of China’s Medical Equipment series, Globalization of Chinese Pharma Companies series and The Development of China’s Vaccine Industry series.

Chung holds a B.S. degree in biochemistry from Peking University and a Ph.D. degree in Genetics from Yale University.
