Zahra is Senior Manager of Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where she leads quantitative evidence generation studies to support global market access and reimbursement of their Cystic Fibrosis portfolio. She is also Chief Operating Officer of Hikma Health, a non-profit startup borne out of the MIT Refugee Accelerator working to bring healthcare data solutions to low-resource populations, and is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper in the Boston Hub. Zahra holds an M.S. in Global Health Economics from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a B.S./B.A. from Columbia University in Biological Sciences and Middle Eastern Studies.
