COP15 in China: businesses role in protecting biodiversity
As part one of the UN's COP15 summit ends in China, we look at what's been achieved so far. What role must businesses play in protecting biodiversity?
Bowen is currently in charge of international collaboration at SEE, the largest environmental NGO initiated by entrepreneurs in China. She is also the Head of International Affairs at SEE Foundation.
With 14 years of experience in civil society and environmental philanthropy, Bowen leads SEE’s institutional strategic development, program & portfolio management and research on a variety of issues including biodiversity, ocean conservation, climate change, desertification prevention, industry pollution control, civil society development, and corporate social responsibility etc. Prior to joining SEE, Bowen served as the Assistant to the Chief Representative of the US-based Institute for Sustainable Communities in China, coordinating affairs in its Beijing Office and monitoring and evaluating its EHS program.
