Daytime Naps Could Help Keep Your Brain Healthy as You Age

Regular naps are associated with larger brain volumes, found a new study and larger brains are a marker of good brain health. They are linked to a lower risk of dementia and other diseases. Researchers from UCL and the University of the Republic in Uruguay examined health data on 379,000 white British people. They found that the brains of regular nappers appeared up to 6.5 years younger than the brains of people who don’t nap.
