The DRC is creating the world’s largest forest reserve
It’s a hard-won and vital step forwards for the environment at a time when global commitments to tackling climate change are waning. The Kivu-Kinshasa Green Corridor will stretch over 2,600km.It will cover an area almost the size of France with a population of 31 million people. It was announced at Davos this year by the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
