The Super Bowl was powered by 100% clean energy for the first time

This year’s game was played at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It’s powered by a 621,000-panel solar farm in the nearby Nevada desert. This single event used as much energy as 46,000 homes but this solar farm can power up to 60,000 homes as the Nevada desert gets 300 days of sunshine every year. So while the Kansas City Chiefs were the biggest winners on the night the planet did well out of the game, too
