The Apple Mac just turned 40. Here’s are 7 digital tech milestones

In January 1984, Apple launched its first Macintosh mass-market computer. It had 128KB of RAM and sold for the equivalent of $7,500 today. It changed the face of personal computing. Before then, PCs were built mainly for enthusiasts. Users operated them by typing in codes and commands. The Mac swapped this for point-and-click graphics and icons and a user-friendly single-button mouse.
