These bricks are made from agricultural waste
They’re stronger than aerated concrete and lighter than clay. The bricks are made of a material called Agrocrete created by Indian start-up GreenJams. Agrocrete is made from agricultural residues and industrial byproducts such as rice straw, sugarcane pulp, corn stalks, construction waste, iron and steel slags. GreenJams says its bricks can cut construction costs in half.
